About us:
Dr. Shubhangee Satam, M.D (Ayurveda) from Mumbai, India has around 12 years of Herbal industry experience in addition to her clinical experience for around 16 years. She travels extensively to USA and Europe to conduct lectures/workshops and private consultations in Ayurveda and Yoga field. In addition to this she also holds a degree of Law (LLB ) and a Yoga instructor Certificate. Currently she is working as an Independent Consultant for the Herbal/ Ayurvedic and Nutraceuticals Industry.





Lydia Reuter, Ayurvedic Practitioner/Herbalist, Cadier en Keer/Netherlands, practicing since 2006 in own practice. Conducts workshops as Ayurvedic cooking, Daily routine, Healing power of herbs and spices and Cooking with wild herbs.

  • Introduction to Ayurveda:  is the Indian traditional medicine, with its origin going back to more than 5000 years. It has a holistic approach to health that is designed to help people live long, healthy, and well-balanced lives. It has undergone continuous research, development and refinement over so many years.
  • In this lecture you would be introduced to the ancient science of India with its origin, branches, aim and objectives, types of treatments, materials used for the treatments, … and much more. Thus, freshers do not have to worry about the ignorance and will surely have an opportunity to learn about Ayurveda .


Ayurvedic Full Body Massage workshop: Ayurveda offers various types of Massage with oils to tone the muscles, improve the blood circulation, to support joint health, etc. This workshop would include training to conduct the main types of Ayurvedic massage like Abhyangam , Mardan, Unmardan, etc. Each participant would have the opportunity to practice the techniques under the supervision of the experts. Not only this, each participant would have a chance to get a massage done during the training by the colleagues, so that the beautiful experience of the Massage therapy could be understood with a first hand experience and the mistakes could be avoided in their future practice, if one would be interested in taking up this as a career.
This workshop would also give an insight to the benefits of these Massages along with the knowledge of various types of oils to be used in different conditions and for people of different
conditions.
   
  • Ayurvedic Head Massage workshop: It is a simple and a relaxing form of massage based on Ayurvedic techniques involving work on the shoulders, neck and scalp. It is used to reduce stress and fatigue. A session lasts between 20-30 minutes. Each participant will have an opportunity to have the first hand experience of getting Head Massage done and also to try out a Head Massage on the other enthusiastic colleague, of course under the guidance of experts.

    Unique Ayurvedic Foot Massage with Kansya bowl workshop: This unique type of Foot Massage is done with the help of metal bowl made up of bronze and clarified Ghee or oil. It is beautiful massage, finding its roots in Ayurveda and Marma therapy, helping to relieve tension, fatigue and balance all the three doshas (biological factors of the body). In this workshop one can learn how to do this unique massage on oneself or on others.

  • Know your Physical & Mental Constitution (Prakruti) according to Ayurveda: Unlike the conventional medicine, Ayurveda considers each person as a separate entity, having a unique psychosomatic temperament encompassing his or her physical, functional and behavioural characteristics. The variations of the three biological factors (doshas) in each person makes him the individual a special entity. In this session you can learn about the various traits of these three doshas and at the end of the session, through a series of questions, you would be able to know your Prakruti (constitution), which can help you live a better life through a suitable diet; right lifestyle; knowing your strengthens and weaknesses and anticipating particular diseases and preventing them.


  • Ayurvedic Cooking workshop: Diet plays a very important role in Ayurveda. Several Ayurvedic principles about cooking, right combination of food ingredients and addition of particular spices while cooking according to the physical constitution of the individual is the focus of Ayurvedic cooking.
In this workshop, you would learn the basic principles of cooking according to Ayurveda; types of food suitable for people of different constitution; importance and use of spices; incompatible food recipes … And much more. Not only would you learn about how to cook … but also how to eat… This is what Ayurveda talks about. There are certain rules of eating which help us to improve our digestion, metabolism and be healthy. In addition to this, you would be served with the freshly cooked Ayurvedic food.

  • Ayurveda and Beauty (Skin Care & Hair Care) workshop : “Unlock your Radiant Youthful Skin & Lustrous Hair through Ayurveda & Yoga”Simple Secrets to Reduce Premature Aging, Improve Skin Luster, Elasticity and Vitality and to have lustrous and healthy Hair.
